The Hutson School is 1 of only 10 schools in the United States accredited by the Academy of Orton-Gillingham Practitioners and Educators
Our Mission
The Hutson School is a comprehensive day school dedicated to educating and equipping students with language learning differences to become competent and confident life long learners.
The school is designed to provide an environment that nurtures each child's development, builds upon his/her individual strengths, and offers remediation in areas of weakness.
Special Programs
- Art, music, library, physical education, drama and technology instruction are built into the instructional programming.
- Study Lab allows students to complete homework under the supervision of Hutson faculty.
- Field trips support and enhance curricular goals.
- After school clubs enhance student learning and creativity.
Mission 2010: One Crew, One Mission!
Join us for our annual fund-raising auction on April 24th at 6pm at the Indiana State Fair Grounds. We'll be blasting off to a fun-filled, exciting night with good food & drink, great live and silent auction items, wonderful entertainment, not to mention rubbing elbows with fellow families and friends! Everyone is welcome!
