Our Mission
The Hutson School is a comprehensive 1-12 grade day school dedicated to educating and equipping students with language learning differences to become competent and confident life long learners. The school is designed to provide an environment that nurtures each child's development, builds upon his/her individual strengths, and offers remediation in areas of weakness.

The Hutson School is 1 of only 10 in the United States to be accredited by the Academy of Orton-Gillingham Practitioners and Educators.
Community "Chip Chat" Nights at Hutson
“Chip Chats” are FREE monthly presentations open to ALL parents, family, friends, and educators of students with learning differences. Made possible through a grant from The Hoover Family Foundation, The Hutson School is honored to host these free public events throughout the school year. “Chip Chats” feature speaker Chip Calwell, Licensed Family Therapist and part-time educator at The Hutson School, and guests speaking on a wide variety of Topics affecting families and students with learning differences. First Ever Dyslexia Awareness Ribbon

- The gray background and chalk letters represent schoolroom's chalkboard.
- The upper case L in the word dyslexia represents Living and Learning with dyslexia.
- The backwards e represents the Effort and Energy it takes for a dyslexic to decipher written communication.
- The multi-colored chalk represents that among the confusion of written letters and numbers, dyslexics find happiness and humor in their dyslexic moments.
